NAVI hints at highly skilled VALORANT signing for VCT 2023

Natus Vincere Accepted into VALORANT EMEA Franchise League, Potential New Player Leaked

Natus Vincere (NAVI) has announced their acceptance into the VALORANT EMEA franchise league through a video. The video shows NAVI’s owner, Yevhen Zolotarov, running around their headquarters with a box containing the Spike from Riot Games, confirming their acceptance into the league. At 38 seconds into the video, Zolotarov enters the merchandise room where a jersey with the name ‘ANGE1’ is displayed, along with the caption ‘New 2023 samples arrived’.

Details of the Potential New Player

Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov, who currently plays for FunPlus Phoenix (FPX), is a potential new player for NAVI. Although FPX was not accepted into the EMEA partnership program, ANGE1’s skills as the in-game leader for FPX, as well as being from Ukraine where NAVI is based, make him an ideal player to showcase in the video if NAVI signs the entire FPX team.

FPX Players Already Signed with NAVI

Unlike other organizations that were not accepted into the partnership program and released their players, FPX players did not publicly announce their free agency. This is because they have already signed contracts with NAVI. Similar situations have occurred before, such as XSET’s denial into the Americas partnership league but their talks of signing as a core five with G2 Esports. Teams are officially allowed to start signing players on September 26.
