NA Valorant Champions Tour Stage 3 Challengers 2: Results, timetable, tournament format

NA VALORANT Scene Heats Up as Challengers Two Approaches

The North American VALORANT scene is reaching its climax as the open qualifiers wrap up, leading into the final Challengers event. On Sunday, July 26, the eight-team lineup for Stage Three Challengers Two was officially confirmed, along with the first round matchups.

These eight teams will compete for the four available spots in the NA Challengers Playoffs in August. Sentinels, XSET, 100 Thieves, and Team Envy are already waiting for them in the Playoffs bracket. To secure their place, the Challengers Two teams need to survive the double-elimination bracket and finish in the top four.

The stakes are higher than just qualifying for Masters Three Berlin. The teams are also vying for VCT circuit points, which are essential for qualifying for Champions or the Last Chance Qualifier at the end of the year. Half of the participating teams in Challengers Two have yet to earn any VCT points this year, so the minimum of 40 points they could earn by reaching the Playoffs could be a game-changer.

With plenty of exciting VALORANT action ahead, here is everything you need to know about NA VCT Stage Three Challengers Two, including the participating teams, bracket, and schedule.

Participating Teams

The eight competing teams consist of the bottom four teams from Challengers One and the four teams that qualified through the Challengers Two open qualifier. In the first round, the open qualifier teams will face the teams from Challengers One.

Challengers One Teams

  • Gen.G Esports
  • Version1
  • Rise
  • Kansas City Pioneers

Open Qualifier Teams

  • FaZe Clan
  • TSM
  • T1
  • Luminosity

Bracket

NA Stage Three Challengers Two will feature a double-elimination bracket. All matches, except for the grand finals, will be best-of-three series. The top four teams will advance to the NA Challengers Playoffs. Teams need to reach either the upper bracket final or the third round of the lower bracket to qualify.

TSM, Luminosity, Rise, and FaZe Clan have secured a top four finish and will qualify for the NA Challengers Playoffs.

All eight teams are also competing for a $50,000 prize pool, with $20,000 going to the first-place finisher. No VCT points are up for grabs during Challengers Two.
