Mumbai game servers for VALORANT set to launch on Oct. 14

Riot Games Introduces Mumbai Game Servers to Improve VALORANT Experience in India and Surrounding Countries

Riot Games has announced that it will be launching dedicated game servers in Mumbai on October 14th, enhancing the gaming experience for players in India and neighboring countries. This move aims to address issues related to ping and connectivity in the region, providing a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience for players.

Expansion of Dedicated Servers

Following the recent announcement of dedicated servers for the Middle East and North Africa regions in Act III, Riot Games has been listening to player feedback and recognizing the importance of dedicated servers in various regions. With the introduction of the Mumbai game servers, Riot Games aims to cater to the needs of players in India and surrounding areas.

Dedicated servers for India have been a long-anticipated addition, and Riot Games has now confirmed that the Mumbai game servers will be operational from October 14th. Players in India and neighboring countries will benefit from improved connectivity without the need for an account or ID transfer. However, players in Pakistan will not be connected to the Mumbai servers but will instead be part of the new Bahrain servers.

The inclusion of Mumbai servers in the SEA shard opens up exciting possibilities for a regional VALORANT competitive scene. Similarly, the introduction of Bahrain servers enables the region to participate in tournaments such as First-Strike, and the same could potentially occur in the Indian region.

Aside from the dedicated servers, players can also look forward to other exciting features in Act III. The new map, Icebox, will be available in casual matches and will be added to the competitive map pool after a two-week testing period. Additionally, a new battle pass featuring exclusive skins and content will be available for players to unlock and enjoy throughout Act III.
