M80’s Blast Shatters Disguised’s VALORANT Playoffs Hopes, Sending yay and Team to the Bottom of NA Challengers

Disguised Toast’s NA Challengers Team Misses Playoffs in VALORANT League

The team Disguised, picked up by popular streamer Disguised Toast, has unfortunately missed the playoffs for Split Two in the VALORANT NA Challengers League. They suffered a 2-0 loss to league leaders M80 on May 12.

No Wins for Disguised in Split Two

Despite the big free-agent signing of Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, Disguised still remains winless in Split Two. This is the second split in a row that they have missed the playoffs. Their spot in Challengers is also in jeopardy, and they may have to fight for their Challengers’ lives in the Play-In Relegation tournament from June 4 to 6.

Struggles and Close Losses

The Disguised squad entered the league with a lot of promise, but they haven’t found the same success they had when they made a surprise run and qualified for the Challengers scene in January. They faced challenges such as a tough starting group in Split One, roster changes, and close losses like their match against TSM on March 15.

A Disastrous Split Two

Initially, Split Two seemed like an easier split for Disguised compared to their debut, but a slow start and tough competition led to a disastrous 0-4 record. They have only won two maps in those four games, with victories against Shopify Rebellion and Turtle Troop.

The Missed Opportunity

Disguised still had hopes of making it to the playoffs but needed several specific conditions to be met. However, their 13-7, 13-6 series loss to M80 dashed those hopes. It was a must-win game that they couldn’t secure.

Disguised still has one final match in the split against TSM on May 16 to try and avoid a winless split.
