M80 VALORANT stars hit unrestricted free agency: Exploring options

M80 VALORANT Roster Enters Free Agency

After falling short of the VCT Americas League, the M80 VALORANT roster faces an uncertain future. Gianfranco “koalanoob” Potesti, Marc-Andre “NiSMO” Tayar, Mouhamed “johnqt” Ouarid, and Alexander “Zander” Dituri are now unrestricted free agents. However, according to M80 founder Marco Mereu, they have the opportunity to explore other options.

In addition, M80 founder Marco Mereu stated that the players and coaches have the same opportunity. However, Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic has not released his free agent statement yet. Mereu also assured that M80 will continue to participate in VALORANT and the Challengers ecosystem.

M80’s founder and the players’ agent confirmed that the players are unrestricted, meaning they can sign with any team that offers them a contract.

All three players expressed their desire to join a franchise roster at the highest level, targeting a spot on a partnered team in the VCT Americas League. Potential teams for them include Cloud9, 100 Thieves, and Sentinels, who did not qualify for Champions and may consider making changes.

If the players leave M80 to join VCT teams, M80 will still have plenty of talented Challengers players to choose from. In the past month, several organizations competing in NA Challengers, such as TSM, G2, and Disguised, have released their VALORANT rosters.
