Lotus: The Upcoming VALORANT Map Release Date and Time

Riot Unveils New Map “Lotus” in VALORANT

The exciting time has arrived for map enthusiasts and strategic players in VALORANT, as Riot has officially introduced its latest map, Lotus. This captivating map is set in India and boasts stunning Indian architecture crafted from ancient rock.

In terms of gameplay, Lotus offers distinctive features that set it apart. With three spike planting sites, similar to Haven, players can strategize and explore different approaches. The map also includes a small destructible wall that connects A main and A link to B, creating new pathways. Moreover, there are two rotating doors that briefly open and close, alerting everyone on the map.

Mastering the new Lotus map will prove to be a challenge for players of all ranks. Though the sites are compact, they offer multiple intricate paths that require careful observation. Moreover, each site presents numerous hiding spots and corners for opponents to take advantage of.

If you’re excited about what you’ve seen so far and can’t wait to experience the action yourself, the wait is almost over.

Release Date for Lotus in VALORANT

Players will have the opportunity to explore the new map Lotus starting from January 10th, coinciding with the release of VALORANT Episode Six, Act One.

Unlike previous map releases, Riot has taken a different approach this time. Upon its release, Lotus will not be immediately available in unrated or competitive queues, nor will it have its own separate queue. For the first week, players can only access Lotus through Swiftplay or Custom modes, with no dedicated queue solely for Lotus.
