Latest VALORANT update addresses Icebox map bugs

VALORANT’s Icebox Map Receives Fixes Ahead of Ranked Release

Riot Games has made further improvements to VALORANT’s newest map, Icebox, as it prepares for its release in Ranked mode. The latest patch addresses minor issues, including an audio glitch, while major game-breaking bugs have been resolved.

“Thanks for bearing with us while we fix the issues with Icebox. We’ve squashed most of the serious bugs, but there are a few (including an audio glitch) that the next patch will fix,” Riot announced. “Until then, you can still play on Icebox in Unrated, but, like always, be ready for anything.”

Previous reports highlighted multiple exploits on the map, such as Omen being able to teleport into unreachable areas to gain an unfair advantage. These issues have now been addressed.

Icebox will not be available in ranked queues until Oct. 27, giving developers more time to ensure the map is free from any remaining bugs. Riot advises players enjoying Icebox in Unrated mode to stay prepared in case any unexpected issues arise.
