L Diablo: Yay's year-long losing streak in VALORANT persists as Bleed exits Pacific Kickoff

Yay’s Struggle in Professional Matches

Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, who gained popularity during his time with OpTic, entered the first year of his VALORANT partnership as one of the most sought-after free agents. However, in the past year, yay has not been able to secure a single victory in professional matches.

A Losing Streak

Yay has faced defeat in his last 10 matches. This losing streak includes the second round loss to DRX at LOCK//IN 2023 while he was part of Cloud9, a disastrous seven-match run in the NA Challengers with Disguised, and the recent opening matches at the VCT Pacific Kickoff with his current team, Bleed. His last win came when C9 emerged victorious over eventual Champions grand finalist Paper Rex in the first round of LOCK//IN.
