KRÜ Esports Lets Go of 3 Key VALORANT Players Prior to 2023

KRÜ Esports Releases Mazino, delz1k, and keznit

KRÜ Esports has recently released three of its players, Roberto Francisco “Mazino” Rivas Bugueño, Joaquín Ignacio “delz1k” Espinoza Soto, and Angelo “keznit” Mori. As the winningest team from Latin America, KRÜ Esports is now seeking new players to form its core after being accepted into the Americas VALORANT league. These three players have been with KRÜ Esports since early 2021 and have greatly contributed to the team’s success over the past two years. KRÜ Esports has attended every international LAN event since VALORANT’s inception and was a clear favorite to be selected into the Americas league from LATAM.

New Opportunities for KRÜ Esports

KRÜ Esports has had numerous first-place finishes in their local Challengers league but has experienced mixed success internationally despite always qualifying. This year, the team never placed higher than ninth at LAN events, with disappointing results at Masters: Reykjavík, Masters: Copenhagen, and Champions. Consequently, KRÜ Esports has decided to revamp its roster as they compete against top teams from North America and Brazil. Only two players, Nicolas “Klaus” Ferrari and Juan Pablo “NagZ” Lopez, remain from the original five-man stack. The Americas league now allows KRÜ Esports to sign players from their region under the new import rules.

The offseason in the VALORANT scene is still in its early stages, with players being released and added to rosters across all regions. Whether KRÜ Esports will opt for players from LATAM or consider signing players from North America is yet to be determined.
