Kiles gets benched by Acend in VALORANT lineup

Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets Removed from Acend’s VALORANT Lineup

Acend announced today that Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets has officially been removed from their active VALORANT lineup. According to a report from on March 28, this decision came after a period of time in which the team did not practice with him.

Kiles’ Contribution to Acend’s VALORANT Success

Kiles has been a part of Acend since March 2021 when the organization entered the competitive scene of VALORANT. During his one-year tenure, he played a crucial role in helping them win VALORANT Champions in December, which is the most prestigious international tournament organized by Riot Games for the FPS genre. Although Kiles is now free to explore other options, he is still under contract with Acend.

After evaluating our ongoing path in Valorant, we have decided to move @Kiles71 to the bench. He remains under contract, but is free to explore other options. We want to express our deepest gratitude for his professionalism, excellence, and friendship.

Acend’s VALORANT Roster Depleted

With Kiles being benched, Acend’s VALORANT roster now consists of only three players. The European organization had previously parted ways with in-game leader Santeri “BONECOLD” Sassi in late March after a disappointing performance at VCT EMEA Stage One Challengers, which resulted in them missing Masters Reykjavík this month.

Rebuilding Acend’s VALORANT Team

The organization is currently in the process of rebuilding their team for the remainder of the season. According to multiple sources, reported that David “Fizzy” Figueiredo from Team BDS and Yiğithan “DeepMans” Kesici, a substitute player from Wave Esports, have been practicing with the rest of Acend’s players.

Without any immediate VCT matches scheduled, Acend may take some additional time before finalizing their roster. Currently, the organization has retained Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek, Patryk “starxo” Kopczyński, and Aleksander “zeek” Zygmunt from the lineup that won VALORANT Champions.
