This change affected other agents as well, as nerfing another agent like Sova before addressing Jett could create further problems.

Previously, Jett players could hold angles with an Operator and escape using the dash without consequences. This created difficulties for opponents at all competition levels. The update aims to address this imbalance and ensure Jett remains aggressive and powerful on offense while reducing her power with an Operator. The changes also prevent the need to buff other agents, maintaining the tactical promise of VALORANT.
