Jett’s Dash might lose the ability to bypass Cypher’s Trapwire in VALORANT Episode 3

VALORANT Episode Three Brings Massive Changes and Jett Nerfs

VALORANT players can expect major changes in Episode Three, including a nerf to Jett that prevents her from dashing through Cypher’s Trapwire.

What to Expect in Episode Three:

Episode Three of VALORANT will introduce significant changes that will impact how players approach each round. The early access test build showcased the new sentinel, KAY/O, who is expected to shake up the competitive meta. Additionally, the cost of weapons has been adjusted to make them more affordable in most cases.

Agent Abilities and Economy Changes:

Players will also notice several changes to agent abilities that affect the in-game economy and require smarter budgeting. Some agent abilities, like Jett’s Dash, have been slightly nerfed. For example, Jett can no longer dash through Cypher’s Trapwire, which gives Cypher the advantage of holding an area more effectively.

Adapting to the Changes:

Jett, known as one of the best duelists in VALORANT, may pose a challenge for defenders with her overwhelming skills. However, Jett players will need to adapt to the nerfs and the increased prices of her Cloudburst and Updraft abilities. Her Blade Storm ultimate ability has also become harder to use, as its price has increased from six to seven ult orbs.

Keep in mind that these changes are currently only available in the early access test build and may be adjusted by Riot Games. However, expect these updates to go live in Episode Three on June 22.
