Jett player uncovers powerful vantage point on Ascent in VALORANT

Riot Games introduces new map to VALORANT, players discover vantage point exploits

Riot Games has added an Italian-inspired map to VALORANT, and players are already taking advantage of the new terrain. One player using Jett has found a way to scale a wall on Ascent, giving them a perfect vantage point to eliminate the enemy team.

By utilizing Jett’s Updraft ability, the player is able to reach the top of a wall in A Garden. This vantage point provides a devastating advantage as enemies typically do not look up, allowing the player to eliminate opponents rotating to A and watch over A Heaven.

The player skillfully takes down a Jett, Phoenix, and Brimstone without taking any damage.

It is still uncertain whether other agents can also scale the wall. Raze’s Blast Packs may have the potential to propel her up as well.

As the game has just officially launched with the new map, it is expected that bugs and glitches will emerge. If this vantage point, or any other overpowered spots, negatively impact matchmaking, Riot will likely address and patch them.

Riot has encountered some issues today, such as missing VP for players who made purchases during the closed beta and server problems.
