Jett Player Successfully Executes Runboost from Short A to Heaven on VALORANT Map Bind

Performing a Runboost in Valorant: Jett Takes it to the Extreme

Traversing maps in Valorant is already filled with various abilities and tactics. However, players have recently discovered a unique way to perform a CS:GO runboost in the game using the agent Jett.

A runboost in CS:GO involves one player jumping on top of another teammate’s head and, while both players are running, the player on top can jump much farther than normal.

Although players can’t stack on top of each other’s heads in Valorant, they have discovered that Jett’s abilities can be used to boost teammates to an extraordinary degree. Streamer SweetJayPee showcased this in a recent clip.

Many players have already figured out how to use Jett’s abilities to boost teammates over the truck on the A site of the map “Bind.” But the example shown by SweetJayPee is the farthest boost we’ve seen so far. While it may not be practical in a real game due to the precise timing and positioning required, it could be beneficial in specific situations.

However, this unintended effect may not be what Riot Games intended for the closed beta. It presents a unique way to gain an advantageous position on the map, but it can be frustrating for opponents who have limited counterplay against a player flying across the sky.

The upcoming game update will reveal how Riot plans to address this new ability, whether through adjustments or patching it out completely.
