JcStani and Andbox part ways.

Noah “jcStani” Smith Leaves Andbox’s VALORANT Lineup, Becomes Free Agent

Noah “jcStani” Smith has announced his departure from Andbox’s VALORANT lineup, making him a free agent. This decision comes after reports that the team had practiced without him, Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker, and Zander “thwifo” Kim, who was on loan from XSET, according to Upcomer.

Missed Opportunity for Andbox

JcStani joined Andbox in May but left the team after their elimination by TSM at the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers Two open qualifier in July. Unfortunately, this meant that Andbox did not qualify for the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers Playoffs, which offers a chance to qualify for VCT Masters Three Berlin.

JcStani stated that there were differences in vision when it came to playing the game. According to his TwitLonger, he said, “There were some creative differences over the last couple of months in how we wanted to approach things, and this parting is for the best.”

Reflecting on their recent loss, JcStani expressed regret for tweeting about ping-related excuses following their VCT elimination. He acknowledged his efforts to be a versatile and consistent player, but the loss to TSM had a significant impact on him. He felt he had let his teammates down, which was demoralizing given their clutch plays in an attempt to secure a victory.

As of now, Andbox’s lineup consists of Adam “mada” Pampuch, Daniel “vice” Kim, and yay, who may also be considering leaving the team. Upcomer’s report suggests that former Evil Geniuses player Aleksandar Hinojosa and EZ5 player Eric “kanpeki” Xu are being considered to fill two vacant spots through trials.

Future Plans for jcStani

JcStani plans to move to Austin, Texas by the end of August and resume regular streaming. Fans can look forward to seeing him in action once again as he explores new opportunities in his esports career.
