Jamppi’s Transition: Moving to Competitive VALORANT

Former CS:GO Player Jamppi Transitions to VALORANT

Former CS:GO player Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen has announced his plans to transition to competing in VALORANT.

Jamppi joined ENCE’s CS:GO squad in 2020 and played for eight months before being benched.

Valve Lawsuit and VAC-Ban Controversy

Jamppi’s journey has been marred by controversy. In 2019, one of his accounts was VAC-banned, leading to his alleged removal from OG and a ban from CS:GO Majors. However, Jamppi maintains that the Steam account in question was sold to a friend before it was banned and has filed a lawsuit against Valve in an effort to clear his name.

Bright Future in VALORANT

Jamppi, known as one of CS:GO’s brightest young stars, is expected to have an immediate impact on whichever VALORANT team he decides to sign with.

“It was nice from ENCE to give me the opportunity to compete against the best for eight months,” Jamppi said in a video posted on Twitter. “It was always my dream to play against the best, and I got it.”
