VALORANT Players Join Heretics; TENZKI Moved to Inactive Roster

The organization Heretics announced that VALORANT players Alhan “Jakexd” Meguenni and Mario “PoPiFresH” González have joined their team, while Jesper “TENZKI” Mikalski has been moved to the inactive roster.

Jakexd previously played with the free agent team “genetics” and competed in the VALORANT Regional League France: Revolution. Unfortunately, his team lost in the quarterfinals of the open bracket on Jan. 29 and failed to qualify for the main season.

PoPiFresH competed with Case Esports during the VCT Europe Stage One: Challengers One, but their team was defeated by BIG in the round of 16 on Jan. 12.

Jakexd, known for playing the sentinel or controller role, is expected to replace TENZKI and play the same agents on Heretics. TENZKI, a former Counter-Strike player, was benched by the Spanish organization on Feb. 2. PoPiFresH, on the other hand, is a duelist player who may share responsibilities with Daniel Mertz.

Heretics will be participating in the VRL Spain: Rising, with the main season starting on Feb. 15. Other European organizations, such as Movistar Riders and Team Queso, will also be competing in the regional league.

The season will conclude on March 2 with the playoffs, where the winning team will qualify for the VCT Promotion Tournament. This online event will serve as the last chance for teams looking to qualify for the VALORANT Champions Tour.

Jakexd and PoPiFresH will join Jose-Antonio “Bromas” Ramos Gonzalez, Mertz, and Christian “lowel” Garcia Antoran in Heretics’ VALORANT lineup.
