Getting stuck on a loading screen in VALORANT can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to fix this issue.

Delete Manifest_DebugFiles_Win64 File

If you’re experiencing a loading screen freeze in VALORANT, try deleting the Manifest_DebugFiles_Win64 file. Make sure to keep a backup of the deleted files, just in case.

  1. Go to your C drive in File Explorer and navigate to the Riot Games folder
  2. Find the VALORANT folder and go to Live
  3. Delete the Manifest_DebugFiles_Win64 file
  4. Restart your PC and launch VALORANT again

Reduce VALORANT’s CPU Usage

If you’re experiencing high CPU usage while playing VALORANT, it may be causing the loading screen freeze. Limit your FPS to 30.0 in the Video settings to reduce the strain on your system.

Additionally, consider limiting FPS in specific areas of the game to optimize performance.

Restart VALORANT

If you’re still stuck on the loading screen, you’ll need to restart VALORANT.

  1. Press “Alt + F4” on your keyboard to close VALORANT
  2. Alternatively, open your Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar and end the VALORANT process

After restarting, you should be able to join a match without any issues.

Update VALORANT, Your Drivers, Windows

Outdated software can sometimes cause loading screen freezes in VALORANT. Make sure to update VALORANT, your drivers, and your Windows operating system to the latest versions.

If there are any pending updates, install them before launching VALORANT again.

Run the Game as Administrator
