How to fix the 152 errors in VALORANT

VALORANT Update Causes Matchmaking Bug and Bans

VALORANT has recently released updates that include new agents, game modes, and map changes. However, these updates have also brought about a new bug that is causing issues for players during matchmaking and gameplay.

Since the introduction of the latest update, players have been encountering a bug that prevents them from searching for a match and can even disrupt ongoing matches. This bug has resulted in players receiving bans for leaving matches prematurely.

Many players have been affected by this bug, leading them to believe that they have been banned from the game. However, it is important to note that the VAN 152 Error Code typically indicates a HWID ban, which occurs when Riot’s Anti-cheat system, Vanguard, detects the use of third-party or cheating software.

The error message appears on the screen and looks like this:

How to Resolve the VAN 152 Error in VALORANT

  1. Restart the Riot Client and VALORANT.
  2. Restart your router.
  3. Disable your VPN.
  4. Submit a support ticket to Riot.

If you encounter the VAN 152 error in VALORANT, try restarting your PC. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, we recommend restarting your router as local connectivity issues can also cause this error to appear.

Another option is to visit Riot’s Support Page and submit a ticket. The support team will review your ticket as soon as possible, and hopefully, you will be able to return to the competitive queue without further delay.

It is our hope that this VALORANT error will be patched soon, as the number of players affected by this issue continues to grow with each passing hour.
