How to Find Your Riot ID in VALORANT

Riot Games’ first-person shooter VALORANT has gained immense popularity since its beta launch in early 2020. Many players enjoy playing this game with their friends to showcase their skills and collect weapon skins.

To play VALORANT with friends, you need to add each other’s Riot Games IDs. Once added, you can see your friends in the rightmost bar of the screen. You can invite them directly to games by clicking on their icons on this sidebar or through the game’s queue screen.

The great thing about Riot IDs is that they are universal across all of Riot Games’ titles. This means that if you add someone in VALORANT, you can also see them online while playing League of Legends or Legends of Runeterra. You can even invite them to those games if they have them installed. Finding your own Riot ID to share with friends is a simple process that can be done within the VALORANT client itself.

To find your Riot ID in VALORANT, just look for your own icon in the top right corner of the sidebar. Clicking on this icon will show your Riot ID, including your username and a series of digits called a tagline. You will need all of this information when adding or being added by another player. In addition to your Riot ID, you can also see your party status, rank, and equipped title in this section of the sidebar. Although you can’t change your title or icon directly from here, you can see what other players will see when the game’s lobby begins to load.

If you ever want to change your Riot ID, you can do so by accessing your account on the Riot Games website. However, please note that you can only change your Riot ID and tagline once every 30 days.

By following these steps, you can easily find and share your Riot ID in VALORANT to play with friends. Enjoy the game and have fun showcasing your skills!
