How to Customize Your VALORANT Crosshair with Custom Colors

Riot Games Adds Crosshair Customization Options to VALORANT

Players of the popular game VALORANT can now customize the color of their crosshairs thanks to a recent update by Riot Games. This update expands on the initial color options available on the launch day of the game.

Previous Limitations on Crosshair Color Selection

Prior to this update, VALORANT players were limited to a specific set of crosshair colors. These colors included white, green, yellow-green, green-yellow, yellow, cyan, pink, and red. Unfortunately, players were unable to adjust the brightness or darkness of these colors.

This lack of color customization options left many fans dissatisfied, especially when compared to the flexibility offered by VALORANT’s main competitor, Counter-Strike 2.

How to Customize Your VALORANT Crosshair Color

To add a custom color to your VALORANT crosshair, follow these steps:

  1. Open the VALORANT ‘Settings’ menu
  2. Navigate to the ‘Crosshair’ section
  3. Select the ‘Primary’ tab
    • Here, you can modify the shape and color of your crosshair
  4. In the dropdown menu next to ‘Crosshair Color’, choose the custom option
  5. Enter the hexadecimal code for your preferred color

Hexadecimal codes allow you to choose your desired color, with options ranging from light to dark. These codes are six characters long and follow the RGB format. You can find hexadecimal color codes on the internet.

If you enter an invalid code, the crosshair color will revert to its previous setting.

Enhancing Visibility: Enemy Highlight Color

While changing your crosshair colors, consider adjusting your enemy highlight color as well. Within the ‘Accessibility’ section of the settings, you can avoid having your crosshair blend in with your enemies, ensuring better visibility in the game.
