How to Appear Offline in VALORANT
Playing VALORANT by yourself can be a great way to relax and focus on the game. If you want to play without being disturbed by your friends, appearing offline is the perfect solution. Although Riot hasn’t implemented an in-game feature for appearing offline, you can use a third-party program called Deceive to achieve this. Deceive is a free software that allows you to trick your friends and appear offline while playing VALORANT.
Using Deceive to Appear Offline in VALORANT
To appear offline in VALORANT, you’ll need to download and install Deceive on your computer. Don’t worry, the setup process is simple and straightforward. Follow these six steps:
- Download Deceive from GitHub.
- Create a shortcut of Deceive.exe.
- Right-click the shortcut of Deceive.exe and click on “Properties.”
- In the “Properties” menu, there’s a field named “Target.”
- Add an extra space after “.exe” and type “valorant.”
- Press OK and run Deceive through the shortcut.
If you’ve followed these steps correctly, Deceive will be running. Open VALORANT and check your friends list. You should see an entry called “Deceive Active” on top of it, indicating that the software is working and you are now appearing offline in VALORANT.
