Riot Games Celebrates Pride Month with VALORANT Event
In honor of Pride month, Riot Games is hosting an event across all its titles, including VALORANT, to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. This year, players can once again collect Pride cards and other cosmetics, including Pride gun buddies.
However, unlike previous years, the Pride rewards for 2022 were not automatically added to players’ accounts. Instead, VALORANT fans had to acquire them manually in the game. Riot Games has not yet made an official announcement about this year’s event, but we anticipate that the claiming process will remain the same as it was straightforward and easy.
How to Obtain the 2023 Pride Cards in VALORANT
- Launch VALORANT.
- Go to the in-game store.
- Select the Pride bundle of your choice from the Pride collection.
- Click on the price, which will be zero credits, and complete the process to add the Pride card to your profile.
In 2021, acquiring the Pride cards proved to be more challenging as each one was tied to different codes that players had to redeem within the game. Fans not only had to navigate the game’s redemption system but also had to locate the specific Pride card codes.

When the Pride event goes live in VALORANT, be sure to check the timer in the in-game shop. It will indicate how much time players have to claim the event cosmetics.
