Switching from a intense VALORANT gaming session to a more relaxed Minecraft adventure? Don’t let Skeletons ruin your experience because of your sensitivity settings. Converting your VALORANT sensitivity to Minecraft is crucial for a seamless transition.
There’s no need to worry, though. With a simple equation, you can ensure that you won’t miss an arrow. While Minecraft may not always be the most intense game, getting your settings right can make the experience even smoother.
On the other hand, VALORANT requires precise mouse movements, and it can be difficult to adjust to a completely different sensitivity after getting used to fast-twitch movements.
What is Sensitivity?
If you’re new to the gaming scene, sensitivity refers to your mouse movement speed. The problem is that sensitivity settings vary greatly between different games.
The sensitivity is also affected by your mouse’s DPI (Dots Per Inch). Higher DPI means that your in-game sensitivity needs to be lower. Personally, I keep my mouse at 800 DPI, but my sensitivity changes depending on the game.
Each game requires different movements, so it’s important to find the right sensitivity. However, allowing yourself to tweak it as needed is just as important.
How to convert sensitivity between VALORANT and Minecraft
There are different methods to calculate your new sensitivity when switching between games.
For example, if your VALORANT sensitivity is 1 with a DPI of 400, your Minecraft sensitivity would be 63. Each whole number increase in VALORANT sensitivity will increase your Minecraft sensitivity by 63.

If your VALORANT sensitivity is 0.75 with a DPI of 800, your Minecraft sensitivity would be 1.50. Conversely, if you want to switch your Minecraft sensitivity to VALORANT, you would double the value.
VALORANT Mouse Sensitivity Converter Calculators
Sensitivity calculators are incredibly useful tools that can save you a lot of time. While there are other methods, these converters are highly accurate.
If you don’t feel like minimizing your game, you can move your mouse from one side of the mousepad to the other in a straight horizontal line. If you complete a full 180-degree turn without going beyond that point, you have found your sensitivity.
Popular sensitivity calculators include Aiming.Pro, GamingSmart.com, and Aim Labs. Each calculator has its own method of determining the precise sensitivity conversions between games.
