Gen.G VALORANT replaces Huynh after team falls short of reaching Challengers 2

Gen.G Benches huynh After Loss in VCT NA Challengers Two Open Qualifiers

Gen.G has made the decision to bench huynh after their defeat to TSM in the final round of the VCT NA Challengers Two open qualifiers. This loss means that Gen.G will not be competing in Challengers Two for a spot in the Stage Two NA Challengers Final.

Changes in the Roster

Huynh, who joined Gen.G last May as part of the original roster known as FRENCH CANADIANS, is no longer a member of the starting lineup. Despite the recent change, huynh is still under contract with Gen.G and has the opportunity to explore options with other teams and rosters. Throughout his time with Gen.G, huynh primarily played as a duelist, particularly as Jett, but is open to taking on different roles.

Continuing Success

While some players have left Gen.G, including Keven “PLAYER1” Champagne and Loic “effys” Sauvageau who qualified for the Challengers Final under the Version1 banner, two original members remain on the team: Anthony “gMd” Guimond and Michael “MkaeL” De Luca. Gen.G has had early success, winning multiple tournaments and consistently being one of the top teams in North America.
