Highest Viewership in VCT Semifinals: KRÜ Esports vs Gambit Esports

Last night’s semifinal between KRÜ Esports and Gambit Esports broke records in the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), with over 1.06 million peak viewers across all broadcasts, according to Esports Charts. Fans from around the world were eagerly watching as the match determined the finalist.

Twitch had the highest viewership with 941,198 viewers, far surpassing YouTube’s 108,526 viewers. Spanish-language co-streams attracted 421,841 peak viewers, while English-language co-streams had 406,670 peak viewers.

Gambit Esports, the winners of the last Masters at Berlin, entered the event as one of the favorites. However, KRÜ Esports, a surprise contender, took down several top teams to reach the semifinals. Gambit emerged victorious in the series tiebreaker, securing their spot in the grand finals against Acend.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2021 is the final international esports tournament of the year, featuring 16 top teams from different regions competing to become the first-ever VALORANT world champions.

The VCT grand finals between Gambit Esports and Acend will commence today at 11am CT.
