Gambit Esports Crowned Champions at VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin

The VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin tournament concluded with Gambit Esports emerging as the winners. In the Grand Finals, Gambit Esports swept Envy to claim the title and the $225,000 prize, establishing themselves as the best team in the world.

Road to the Finals

Gambit Esports secured the second seed in Group C by defeating Crazy Raccoon twice, while Envy took down Vivo Keyd and KRU Esports in Group B. Envy had an impressive performance throughout the tournament, defeating Sentinels and 100 Thieves without dropping a map. Gambit also had a strong showing, beating Vision Strikers and G2 Esports, with just one map loss against Vision Strikers.

Grand Finals Showdown

The Grand Finals between Gambit Esports and Envy took place in a best-of-five format. The first game on Bind was fiercely contested, with both teams trading blows. Envy started strong, winning the first two rounds, but Gambit fought back and had their share of impressive plays. Despite Envy finishing the first half with a two-round lead, Gambit came back strong in the second half, winning four straight rounds. In the end, Gambit emerged victorious in overtime.

Envy didn’t let their loss in the first map affect their performance on Haven. They dominated Gambit on offense, with standout performances from Yay. However, Gambit fought back and won the first four rounds in the second half, ultimately winning the map and taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

The third game on Split was intense, with both teams winning six rounds in the first half. Gambit showcased their skill in taking sites and defending the Spike, gaining an advantage. Despite Envy’s efforts, Gambit dominated the second half and secured the victory.

Gambit Esports Triumphs

Gambit Esports emerged as the Masters Berlin Champions and will advance to the VCT Champions event in December. The top 16 teams in the world will compete in the biggest VALORANT event of the year, giving Envy a chance at revenge.
