FPX replaces SUYGETSU with SEIDER for VCT Masters Copenhagen attendance

FPX VALORANT Team Faces Visa Issues Ahead of VCT Masters Copenhagen

FPX’s VALORANT team was eagerly looking forward to participating in the upcoming VCT Masters Copenhagen. However, the team received disappointing news this morning. The organization confirmed that Mathias “SEIDER” Seider would be replacing Dmitry “SUYGETSU” Ilyushin in the event due to visa complications. Unfortunately, Ilyushin was unable to travel to Denmark due to visa issues, as reported by on July 8.

FPX stated in an official statement, “While we have been working hard to secure SUYGETSU’s visa approval, the timing remains uncertain. Therefore, we have decided to bring in SEIDER, who can showcase the same level of skill. We are excited to welcome him to our squad.”

VALORANT Roster Update for VCT Masters Copenhagen

SEIDER, who has previously played for Alliance, Wave Esports, and CG Esports, brings a wealth of experience to the team. However, VCT Masters Copenhagen will be his biggest challenge yet.

FPX faced potential setbacks beyond just visa issues. Andrey “Shao” Kiprsky narrowly managed to obtain his visa in time. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, many European countries have imposed travel bans, making it difficult for FPX players to attend international events.

FPX will kickstart their journey at VCT Masters Copenhagen today, facing XERXIA at 10am CT.
