XSET Players Join Sentinels for 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour

Sentinals, the renowned esports organization, has added former XSET players to their roster for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour in 2023. Rory “dephh” Jackson is the latest member to join the team, rounding out the lineup.

Confirmation from Sentinels

The news was first reported by , and Sentinels has since confirmed the addition of dephh. He will be joining his former XSET teammates, coach Don “Syyko” Muir and teammate Zachary “zekken” Patrone, who also made the move to Sentinels following XSET’s denied partnership for 2023.

Dephh is expected to be the final addition to Sentinels’ 2023 roster. This news follows the recent signings of Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi and Bryan “pANcada” Luna, former members of LOUD, a Brazilian team that also secured a franchise spot. Sentinels and LOUD may become rivals in the upcoming season. While there is still uncertainty surrounding Michael “shroud” Grzesiek’s position on the team, Tyler “TenZ” Ngo has confirmed his continued presence after extending his contract.

Preparations for the Franchised Season

Sentinels will now focus on preparing for the start of the first franchised season of the VALORANT Champions Tour. The circuit is set to begin in February 2023 with an event in São Paulo, Brazil, replacing the usual first split of the year. For the first time, franchised teams will compete against each other, and the tournament will culminate in March with the crowning of a champion.

Teams across the esports scene are currently finalizing their rosters for the 2023 season. With a formidable lineup consisting of three XSET members and two LOUD players who have showcased their skills in major international events, Sentinels is poised to be a dominant force in the upcoming franchised VCT competition.
