Former FPX roster and Acend star join NAVI

CIS Organization Natus Vincere Signs Top Valorant Cores in Europe

Natus Vincere (NAVI), one of the few teams selected by developer Riot Games to compete in the EMEA international league, has made an exciting roster change. They have signed Dmitry “SUYGETSU” Ilyushin, Pontus “Zyppan” Eek, Kyrylo “ANGE1” Karasov, and Andrey “Shao” Kiprsky from FunPlus Phoenix.

Former Acend player Mehmet “cNed” Yağız İpek has completed the roster, taking the place of Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks, who is rumored to be joining the NRG team in North America.

The NAVI team is led by coach Erik “d00mbr0s” Sandgren, who has been with the team since August 2020.

FunPlus Phoenix (FPX) has been a highly successful team in Europe, winning first place at VCT Masters in Copenhagen earlier this year. However, they faced challenges in the Champions tournament, losing to teams like XSET and DRX.

The loss of ardiis is a blow to FPX, as he was considered one of their best players. But NAVI is confident in their new roster and is ready to compete in the EMEA international league, starting with a kick-off tournament in São Paulo, Brazil next February.
