Fnatic and Sentinels set for clash in VCT Masters Reykjavík upper bracket quarterfinals

Fanatic to Face Sentinels in VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavik Upper Bracket Quarterfinals

Fnatic secured a 2-0 victory against KRÜ Esports, setting them up for a showdown against North American powerhouse Sentinels in the upper bracket quarterfinals of the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavik.

Fnatic entered the tournament in Iceland as one of the strongest teams, making them clear favorites against KRÜ. They dominated by winning 13-5 on Haven and securing a 13-4 victory on Icebox. Derke showcased his impressive skills with a total of 40 kills and an average of 203.3 damage per round. The rest of the Fnatic roster also performed exceptionally well, maintaining positive kill-death ratios and minimizing their challenges against KRÜ.

However, Fnatic’s next challenge will be facing Sentinels in the upper bracket quarterfinals, which promises to be a more intense series. Sentinels have arrived in Iceland with an unbeaten streak of nine games and a flawless performance in the NA Challengers Finals. They are also the winners of the first NA Masters tournament, establishing themselves as the top team from North America.

While Fnatic is considered one of the top European teams, right behind Team Liquid who defeated them in the EU Challengers Playoffs, both teams are highly competitive in their respective regions and boast some of the best duelists in the world. Derke will face off against TenZ, known for his exceptional Jett and Reyna plays.

SicK and ShahZaM from Sentinels are also formidable fraggers, with ShahZaM showcasing excellent leadership skills. Fnatic’s Boaster leads the team with a well-rounded approach, supported by the rest of the lineup. The Sentinels vs. Fnatic match is expected to be one of the most thrilling and entertaining showdowns at Masters Reykjavik.

The Sentinels and Fnatic match will take place on May 25th at 3pm CT. The winner will advance to the upper bracket semifinals and face either Team Vikings or X10 Esports.
