Floppy and Xeppaa Officially Join Cloud9’s VALORANT Team

Ricky “floppy” Kemer Joins Cloud9 VALORANT Team

Cloud9 has officially announced the addition of Ricky “floppy” Kemer to their VALORANT team. Reports from Upcomer’s George Geddes and Rush B Media’s Max “SolGoat” Wallace last week initially broke the news. Erick “Xeppaa” Bach has also been added to the team.

Floppy was previously part of the C9 CS:GO “Colossus” project, which marked the first time in esports history that public salaries were disclosed. The project, despite its high cost, did not meet expectations, leading to the players going their separate ways.

Xeppaa, on the other hand, was a member of the Chaos CS:GO roster and was mentored by Joshua “steel” Nissan. Both have now transitioned to VALORANT, with steel playing for 100 Thieves.

In 2021, despite initial struggles in 2020, C9’s VALORANT squad is showing promise. With their revamped roster, they have secured upset wins over Immortals and Gen.G in the open portion of VCT Stage Two: Challengers Two.

It seems that C9 will be utilizing a six-man roster, unless there are further announcements or changes to the team.

C9’s VALORANT team has a lot at stake in the upcoming tournament. High placements will secure a spot in the Challengers Finals, where two spots at Masters in Reykjavik, Iceland will be up for grabs. This Masters event will mark the first international LAN event in VALORANT history. C9 will face tough competition from teams like 100 Thieves, Sentinels, and FaZe Clan, but with their talented roster, they are poised to compete for top spots.

The C9 VALORANT roster consists of floppy, Xeppaa, Mitch Semago, Nathan “leaf” Orf, Son “xeta” Seon-ho, and Michael “poiz” Possis.
