Famous Esports Team Organizes VALORANT Invitational Featuring $50,000 Prize Pool

VALORANT Tournament: FaZe Clan Collaborates with Verizon and Nissan

FaZe Clan, in partnership with Verizon and Nissan, is set to host a VALORANT Ignition Series Invitational. The tournament will feature 16 North American teams competing for a prize pool of $50,000. The four-day event will begin on August 6.

Competing Teams and Format

The participating teams for the invitational have not been fully disclosed yet, but FaZe Clan’s squad is confirmed. Eleven teams will be selected based on their performance in previous tournaments, while four open qualifier teams will be randomly assigned to groups.

The competition will consist of a group stage, held over the first two days, featuring a double elimination format. The playoffs will take place on days three and four, with best-of-three matches leading up to the grand finals. The top two teams will compete in a series of five matches to determine the champion.

Prize Distribution

The winning team will receive $25,000, with second place earning $15,000, third place receiving $7,500, and fourth place taking home $2,500.

Remaining Slots and Promising Teams

As the competition draws near, fans can expect the announcement of the remaining 15 participating teams. Sentinels, who emerged victorious in the PAX Arena Invitational, defeating Cloud9 for first place, are likely to secure a spot in the tournament.
