Exclusive Insight: Pro Player Excels as Sole Viewer with Perfect VCT Americas Pick’ems

Week Two of VCT Americas Stage One Ends with a Surprising Development

The second week of VCT Americas stage one concluded on April 16, and it left viewers in awe as only one out of 24,469 viewers managed to correctly predict the Pick’ems. This has led VALORANT fans to wonder if this user has some secret insights into the matches, while the rest of the community eagerly locks in their picks for week three.

Ideal Picks: Zoestol Emerges as the Sole Perfect Pick’ems User

On April 18, a VALORANT fan made an intriguing discovery. SaD Esports’ IGL Mitchell “Zoestol” Keaton has proven to be the only user with a perfect Pick’ems record for VCT Americas so far. This revelation surprised most commenters, particularly their ability to accurately predict Leviatán’s victory over Sentinels, which is widely regarded as the biggest upset of the tournament.

Divided Opinions: SaD’s Advantage and Unpredictable Performances

As news of Zoestol’s successful Pick’ems spread, the community expressed mixed reactions. One user humorously questioned the sanity of someone who could correctly predict both LEV matches. They were particularly amazed by Zoestol’s ability to foresee the defeat of the reigning Masters Madrid champions at the hands of LEV, even though LEV had previously lost a series against Cloud9 in triple overtime.

Another player believes that Zoestol’s affiliation with SaD gives them a significant advantage in the Pick’ems. SaD’s scrimming with tier one teams supposedly provides Zoestol with greater insights than the average player. However, it’s worth noting that scrim results may not necessarily match actual match outcomes. In addition, no one could have predicted Erick “aspas” Santos’ exceptional performance, securing 47 kills on map one against Sentinels.

Predictions and Speculations for Week Three and Beyond

As the tournament progresses, pro players and analysts have also shared their perspectives on upcoming matches. FNS, for example, confidently predicts that NRG Esports will emerge victorious against LEV by strategically ignoring aspas during their match on April 21. Interestingly, Zoestol has also chosen NRG in their Pick’ems for week three, but they have predicted that LOUD will defeat Sentinels in week four.

Considering that Sentinels previously defeated LOUD in a fiercely contested series, it remains to be seen if Zoestol’s prediction will come true. With only the top three teams from each group qualifying for the VCT Americas stage one playoffs, which kick off on May 9, every match result holds significant importance.
