Evil Geniuses Announces New VALORANT Roster for NA VCT 2022 Qualifier
Evil Geniuses has made some last-minute additions to its VALORANT roster just hours before the start of the first NA VCT 2022 open qualifier. Diondre “YaBoiDre” Bond, Alexander “jawgemo” Mor, and Jeffrey “Reformed” Lu have joined the team, joining Mike “pho” Panza and Kelden “Boostio” Pupello. The team is being led by former team captain and CS:GO pro Christine “potter” Chi.
New Players Welcomed by Evil Geniuses
In a recent tweet, Evil Geniuses introduced its newest VALORANT players who will be representing the organization in the VCT Open Qualifiers. The tweet includes the Twitter accounts of the new players: @ReformedVal, @jawgemo, @YaBoiDre, @Boostio, @phoFPS, and @omgitspotter.

This addition to the roster is significant, especially with the inclusion of YaBoiDre. He has shown great potential in his previous performances and was a key player for the beastcoast roster. YaBoiDre also had standout performances during the Challengers events while playing duelist for Luminosity. He has recently been playing as Sova in NSG events.
Jawgemo and Reformed are two promising young players joining the team. Jawgemo recently joined T1 Academy and played a few matches with them, mostly as Jett. Reformed has been trialing with Evil Geniuses since late October, primarily playing sentinel agents with occasional games as Viper.
Evil Geniuses Aim to Improve in VALORANT
Evil Geniuses is determined to improve its performance in VALORANT after a lackluster first year. The organization made headlines by signing the first mixed roster in NA, but struggled to make an impact in VCT events. The entire original roster was disbanded within nine months, except for potter, who transitioned into the head coach role.
In the first round of the NA VCT open qualifier for 2022, Evil Geniuses will be facing an unsigned roster called Asian Ravioli.
