Envy dominates Sentinels in the VCT NA Challengers 2 grand finals

Team Envy Dominates Sentinels in VCT NA Challengers Two Finals

In a one-sided grand finals of the VCT NA Challengers Two main event, Team Envy swept Sentinels 3-0. With Envy already having a one-map advantage, Sentinels needed a strong start on their own map pick, Haven, which they had never lost on until today.

Envy’s Red-Hot Performance on Haven

Envy came out strong on Haven, building a 7-0 lead on defense and only allowing one spike plant. They dominated the first half, closing it out with a 10-2 lead. Despite Sentinels attempting a comeback, Envy quickly secured the map with just three rounds, putting Sentinels in a 2-0 hole.

Envy’s Domination Continues on Bind

On Bind, Envy showed no mercy. They dominated the first half again, this time on the attacking side, ending with a 10-2 lead. With Envy denying any last-minute momentum from Sentinels, they secured a 13-3 victory on Bind, clinching the series and becoming the champions.

Victor “food” Wong Shines for Envy

Envy’s Victor “food” Wong had an outstanding performance on both maps as Phoenix. He secured 53 kills with only 19 deaths and an impressive average combat score of 383, making him the standout player of the tournament.

Both Envy and Sentinels have already qualified for the NA Masters event, along with Immortals and XSET, so they won’t be participating in NA Challengers Three. The open qualifiers for NA Challengers Three will begin tomorrow.
