Envy bounces back with a 2-0 victory against Vivo Keyd at VCT Masters Berlin

Vivo Keyd Falls to Envy in VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin

In today’s VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Berlin matchup, Vivo Keyd put up a strong fight against Envy but ultimately lost 2-0 to the North American squad.

Envy initially struggled on the opening map, Icebox, falling behind 7-1. However, they managed to rally and force the game into overtime, eventually securing a 15-13 victory. One standout moment came from Austin “crashies” Roberts, who made an impressive play that showcased his mechanical skill.

With a Sheriff in hand, crashies eliminated four Vivo Keyd players and then picked up a Vandal. When Jonathan “JhoW” Glória resurrected a teammate, the final two enemies lined up perfectly for crashies, and he took them both down to win the round. This clutch moment marked the turning point in the map, with Envy regaining their momentum from that point onward.

Envy went on to secure a 13-9 victory on Bind, winning the match. However, Vivo Keyd didn’t go down without a fight, as they mounted a comeback attempt. Unfortunately, the Brazilian squad couldn’t secure the ultimate victory to keep them alive in the best-of-three match.

Despite the loss, Vivo Keyd’s future in the tournament isn’t as dire. Olavo “Heat” Marcelo stood out with over 50 kills across both maps and an impressive 14 first kills to only three first deaths. While they will have to fight to stay alive, their situation is not as critical as some other teams who were relegated to the elimination match. Vivo Keyd will face the loser of the KRU Esports and ZETA DIVISION match on Sept. 14.

Envy, on the other hand, advances to the winner’s bracket and awaits the winner of the KRU Esports and ZETA DIVISION match on Sept. 13.
