The stage is set for the grand finals of the VALORANT First Strike North American qualifier. Team Envy and Cloud9 Blue will face off tomorrow to determine who earns the top seed in next week’s closed Nerd Street Gamers qualifier.
Team Envy’s Dominance
Team Envy, with their newly acquired roster including former T1 pros Victor “food” Wong and Austin “crashies” Roberts, has been performing exceptionally well. They comfortably navigated through the bracket, defeating Complexity and T1. Anthony “mummAy” DiPaolo led the team with 44 frags in their one-sided victory against Gen.G.
Cloud9 Blue’s Close Match Against TSM
Cloud9 Blue had a more challenging match against TSM. While they won Ascent convincingly, Bind was a much closer battle that went into overtime. TSM ultimately secured the win with the help of Matthew “WARDELL” Yu’s strong performance.
