Eliminated Teams Allegedly Denied Entry to Game Changers Champions Venue by Riot

VALORANT Game Changers Champions Teams Locked Out of Venue After Elimination

Teams eliminated from the VALORANT Game Changers Champions tournament will not be allowed back into the venue unless they purchase tickets. The tickets for the event sold out quickly after they became available, causing disappointment among those who didn’t anticipate the rush and were placed on a waiting list.

Riot has faced criticism for choosing the LEC studio in Berlin, Germany as the location for the first international Game Changers LAN event. The studio can only accommodate a small crowd of 174 people. This limited capacity and the swift ticket sales have sparked further frustration among participants and fans.

In a departure from traditional practice, Riot has decided to lock out players once their team is eliminated from the tournament. Typically, eliminated players would join the crowd to support their fellow competitors who are still in the running. However, due to this decision, teams will have no way to re-enter the venue and offer their support, as reported by juliano.

This is the first opportunity for international teams to meet in person, and many Game Changers competitors are disappointed by the lack of support. The Game Changers community is known for its camaraderie and friendship among players from different teams. The inability to cheer on their friends from the crowd after elimination was initially anticipated and has dampened the spirits of many.

has reached out to G2 and Riot for comments but has not received a response at the time of writing.

The Game Changers Champions tournament commences on November 15 in Berlin and will feature eight teams from six regions competing for the first time.
