In their recent match against Team Liquid, they won both pistol rounds on both maps, leading to a 2-0 victory in the series.
Evil Geniuses’ performance in pistol rounds goes beyond their success against Team Liquid. Since the start of the group stage, they have won 81 percent of their pistol rounds, which is an impressive feat. In addition, they have one of the largest sample sizes among the playoff teams.

Despite starting with inferior weapons, Evil Geniuses have won the third round in 69 percent of the cases where they won the first two rounds. The only teams to have defeated Evil Geniuses in pistol rounds so far are Team Liquid (twice) and LOUD (once). Notably, one of Liquid’s victories was secured through an impressive 4K play by Corbin “C0M” Lee.
