EDG VALORANT Star Fear KangKang Prepares for Champions 2023 with Exceptional Combat Stats

Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang: The Rising Star of VALORANT

One Chinese VALORANT player has captured the hearts of the global community with his extraordinary skills. Zheng “ZmjjKK” Yongkang, also known as KangKang, made a name for himself at VCT Masters Tokyo in June, cementing his reputation as one of the best players in the world. Now, with his team, Edward Gaming, KangKang is ready to leave his mark at Champions 2023 in Los Angeles.

EDG recently dominated the China Qualifiers, only losing a single map on their path to Champions. KangKang’s exceptional performance earned him the Finals MVP title. According to Liquipedia, he boasted impressive stats, including an average combat score of 327 and 176 kills over eight maps. With an average of 22 kills and only 11 deaths per game, KangKang showcased his dominance across all maps.

In the previous tournament, Masters Tokyo, KangKang led the pack with an astounding 329 kills, topping all players in ACS and kills per map. Now, he has a chance to make history again if his teammates can maintain their top-level performance against other tier-one squads at Champions.

KangKang is also eager to face off against Team Liquid and Paper Rex, the teams that caused their defeat at Masters Tokyo. Revenge is on the menu, and KangKang is ready to serve it with his Jett knives.

You can witness the electrifying gameplay of KangKang and EDG on Tuesday, August 8, as they take on Giants in their opening series at Champions 2023.
