Ec1s Participates in Practice Sessions with Gen.G; Ongoing Trials with Other Candidates

Former 100 Thieves player ec1s practices with Gen.G

Adam “ec1s” Eccles, the former in-game leader of 100 Thieves, recently joined North American team Gen.G for practice sessions, according to multiple sources. Other trials have been ongoing in the VALORANT region as well.

During these practice sessions, ec1s teamed up with Gen.G’s IGL, Anthony “gMd” Guimond. Notably, Justin “Jerk” Milani was absent, as reported earlier.

Ec1s has been practicing with the team from Europe since returning home on March 1. Another player, Youssef “sSef” Daghache from team Radiance, has also been seen practicing with Gen.G, according to one source.

Several other teams have been trialing different players and coaches. Former Envy coach Michael “Mikes” Hockom had a brief trial with Akrew, who are in search of a new coach following the departure of Preston “Juv3nile” Dornon to TSM.

In addition, DarkZero has recently practiced with Kyle “Screwface” Jensen, Adam “Ange” Milian, “BearZ,” former TSM player Taylor “Drone” Johnson, and Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro. However, these teams may undergo further changes.

Many teams are planning to rebuild their rosters in the coming months before the start of the VALORANT Champions Tour North America Stage Two: Challengers on May 5. This event follows the conclusion of the first Masters tournament in April.

According to a now-deleted article on the official VALORANT Esports Weibo account, the Masters event is expected to be held offline in Reykjavík, Iceland.
