DRX’s complete Korean all-star VALORANT roster set to reunite in 2023

DRX Unveils Full Roster for 2023 VCT Pacific Partnership League

South Korean VALORANT team DRX has announced its complete roster for the upcoming 2023 VCT Pacific partnership league. DRX secured a commendable third-place finish at VALORANT Champions 2022 and has decided to retain all the players who contributed to their successful campaign. The roster includes Kim “stax” Gu-taek, Goo “Rb” Sang-mi, Kim “Zest” Gi-seok, Yu “BuZz” Byung-chul, and Kim “MaKo” Myeong-kwan. In addition to this talented quintet, DRX has also added 17-year-old rising star Jung “Foxy9” Jae-sung as their sixth player.

All these players will continue to be coached by head coach Pyeon “termi” Seon-ho, as well as coaches Kim “glow” Min-soo and Kwon “Argency” Soon-woo. This coaching staff joined DRX in January 2022 when the organization acquired the Vision Strikers roster.

In addition to their main team, DRX has also established a youth division. The organization has recruited Kang “BeYN” Ha-bin and miKa as their prospects for this division, who will be mentored by coach Ye “Anaks” Sang-jun. Ye Sang-jun, the 27-year-old skipper, joined DRX from Maru Gaming in September and will serve as the head coach for DRX’s academy project.

With this roster, DRX enters VCT 2023 with one of the most formidable lineups not only in the Pacific league but also worldwide. DRX is the only tier-one VALORANT team that was able to retain all its players following the announcement of the partnership program.

In the Pacific league, DRX will face off against tough competitors such as ZETA DIVISION, T1, Gen.G, Paper Rex, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Talon Esports, and Global Esports.
