Disguised Toast unveils a brilliant strategy for securing his VALORANT team in franchising

The Owner of Disguised VALORANT Roster Reveals Future Plans for Franchising

The owner of the Disguised VALORANT roster in North American Challengers recently shared his strategy for getting into franchising, even if it takes years to achieve. Disguised Toast, a renowned streamer, believes that his VALORANT team could potentially partner with Riot Games, the developers, to compete in the Americas international league. His secret is simple: wait for stronger teams to secure a spot in the league.

Waiting for Better Teams

In a recent Twitch stream, Disguised Toast mentioned, “The good news is that if we don’t win, then next year will be easier.” He referred to the team that is set to secure promotion to the Americas partnered league through the Ascension tournament. His plan is to avoid playing against stronger teams like “The Guard” and “M80,” hoping that eventually, any team better than them will be franchised.

Franchising Opportunities and Challenges

Although Disguised Toast’s approach may hold some truth, there are challenges to consider. The best team from the Americas Ascension qualifies for the partnered league the following year, and this number continues to increase over time. However, the Challengers teams that make it to the partnered league are only there for a few years before having to fight their way through Challengers and Ascension again. So, if Disguised Toast’s team doesn’t qualify for Ascension, they may face off against a top Challengers team in the future.

Competition Beyond North America

It’s important to note that qualification for partnership is not exclusive to North American teams. There is a chance that a South American or Latin American team may secure qualification, as Ascension combines Challengers from the entire region.
