VALORANT Patch 6.01: Changes to Lotus Map and Bug Fixes

The latest VALORANT patch, 6.01, brings some important updates to the game’s newest map, Lotus. This three-site layout map has rotating doors and a destructible entryway, making it a challenging playground for players. After a few weeks, Lotus is now officially part of the map rotation.

In this update, the volume for the rotating doors in Lotus has been reduced, a change that the developers are seeking player feedback on. Additionally, some important bug fixes have been implemented:

  • The boost exploit in the back of B Site has been removed.
  • You can no longer get stuck in the rotating doors.
  • Breach now uses both abilities on the rotating doors.
  • The destructible door now has working vision cones.
  • The Spike can no longer get lost in the back of A Site.
  • A broken Spike plant spot on A Site has been fixed.

Temporary Removal of Replication Mode

Replication, the best-of-nine match mode where all players on the same team play as the same agent, has been temporarily removed. However, players can still enjoy Replication through custom game lobbies.
