Discover How Phoenix Can Hide Under the Map on Icebox in VALORANT

A New VALORANT Bug Allows Phoenix to Hide Under the Map on Icebox

A VALORANT player recently discovered a new bug that allows Phoenix to hide under the map on the Icebox map using his ultimate ability, Run It Back. This bug has the potential to impact gameplay and provide advantages for Phoenix players in specific situations.

How to Execute the Bug

To execute this bug, players need to jump on the rail beneath the right side of the attackers’ spawn. By standing on the rail for a few seconds, players can place the Run It Back marker beneath the map. If done correctly, Phoenix will spawn under the map, allowing players to shoot at enemies above them. However, the view is limited from this position.

Potential Advantages and Other Bugs

While it is unclear how far players can move around under the map, this spot does not provide a significant advantage since players can engage enemies only in the deep areas of the attackers’ spawn near the rail. Despite this, the glitch can be helpful for Phoenix players to save a weapon or distract enemies in certain situations. It is worth noting that other agents have also been able to get out of the map using various glitches, but Phoenix’s abilities have previously impacted gameplay in different ways. A bug had prevented the activation of his ultimate ability, and another glitch allowed players to see through walls using his Curveballs.

Riot Games’ Response

Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, is expected to address this issue in a future patch to ensure fair gameplay for all players.
