Day 4 of VALORANT Champions Tour delayed by one hour for a ‘review of the ruling’ against Vivo Keyd.

VALORANT Champions’ Day Four Delayed for Ruling Review

The fourth day of VALORANT Champions’ matches will start with a one-hour delay. Riot Games will be reviewing the ruling against Vivo Keyd, which awarded the victory to Acend due to a bug exploit by Jonathan “JhoW” Glória on Breeze.

Delay in Group A Matches for Ruling Review

The bug exploit allowed players to see through textures, which provides an unfair advantage. Riot ruled that Vivo Keyd would forfeit the six rounds where the bug was used and awarded Acend an additional round to compensate for the economic impact. As a result, Acend was retroactively declared the winner with a scoreline of 13-9.

This controversial decision sparked mixed opinions within the VALORANT community. The hashtag #justiceforkeyd trended on Twitter, showing support for the Brazilian team.

In Group A, Envy and Acend will compete in the winners bracket with the opportunity to directly qualify for the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Vivo Keyd and X10 CRIT will face off in an eliminator match on December 6.

Fans can watch today’s VCT matchups at 9am CT following the delay.
