CS:GO Professional Mixwell Falsely Accused by VALORANT’s Anti-Cheat System for Connecting Phone to PC

Riot Games Takes Strict Stance against Cheaters in VALORANT

Riot Games is cracking down on cheaters in its popular game, VALORANT. However, some players are being unfairly targeted.

Professional CS:GO player Mixwell experienced this firsthand when he was unexpectedly banned from VALORANT. The ban occurred after he plugged his phone into his PC, a moment that was captured on his stream.

Mixwell reached out to Riot Support on Twitter, explaining that he was simply charging his phone when the anti-cheat system mistakenly banned him from the game.

According to Mixwell, other players have encountered the same issue, including G2 Esports streamer Lothar.

Riot’s anti-cheat system, Vanguard, is designed to detect and ban cheaters during gameplay. However, it appears that the system is overly sensitive, resulting in false positives.

While waiting for his account to be unlocked, Mixwell has turned his attention to playing League of Legends matches. Fans can catch him in action on his Twitch channel.

Don’t miss out on watching Mixwell climb the League ladder by tuning into his Twitch channel.
