VALORANT Player Pulls Off Incredible Last-Second Defusal
A VALORANT player recently showcased their incredible skills in a clutch moment during a match. In a Reddit post that gained significant attention, the player managed to defuse the Spike with just 00.01 seconds remaining on the round’s timer.
The clip begins with a Sage player navigating their way around the back end of C Site on Haven. Unfortunately, their teammate, an Omen player, was eliminated while mid-defusing by an enemy Phoenix who appeared from a nearby smoke. However, the Sage player quickly retaliated and eliminated the Phoenix before turning their attention to the Spike.
With approximately seven seconds left on the timer, the ticking noise signaling the Spike’s detonation grew louder. Nevertheless, the Sage player remained composed, fully aware that they had to execute one of the tightest defusal attempts to secure the round.
Realizing that leaving the spike’s detonation radius would take longer than defusing the Spike itself, the player made the critical decision to utilize their final seven seconds of the round solely for defusing. Their quick thinking paid off as they successfully defused the Spike with only one-hundredth of a second remaining, ultimately winning the round for their team.
