Closed beta access for all VALORANT streams on Twitch now available

Twitch Channels Can Now Drop Closed Beta Access for VALORANT

Riot Games has announced that starting today, any Twitch channel streaming VALORANT can drop closed beta access to its viewers. Previously, only select streams had this ability.

However, it’s important to note that this change does not mean there will be an increase in the number of drops. The quantity of drops will remain the same, but now all VALORANT streamers have the capability to drop access.

While drops are not activated by default, streamers can enable them in the Twitch console. All they need to do is click ‘Drops,’ create a Drops Campaign, and enable it.

Furthermore, Riot has manually granted access to a select few thousand of the most engaged VALORANT stream viewers. The developers also confirmed that they are working on increasing server capacity even further, following their initial 25 percent increase on April 10.

The specific date for the server capacity increase has not been disclosed. Riot mentioned that they are still learning and managing server load through the beta phase.
